Quem se lixa e quem não se lixa para a opinião pública

Tenho sempre enviado emails aos nossos senadores, deputados e ao presidente da república sobre diferentes situações que afligem a opinião pública brasileira.

Raramente recebo uma resposta e quando a recebo é em forma de uma resposta automática dizendo que o email foi recebido.

Nossos representantes se lixam para a opinião pública.

Devido a crise em Honduras, resolvi enviar emails a dois senadores americanos. Recebi resposta de ambos, e ambas as respostas tinha relação ao assunto que tratei em meu emal.

Transcrevo a seguir, em inglês a resposta de um dos dois senadores:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the current political situation in Honduras. I appreciate hearing from you and would like to respond to your concerns.

The U.S. has maintained close relations with Honduras for many years, characterized by significant foreign assistance, an important trade partnership, a U.S. military presence in the country, and cooperation on a range of transnational issues. The bilateral relationship became especially close in the 1980’s when Honduras returned to democratic rule. Today, overall U.S. policy goals for Honduras continue to include strengthened democracy with an effective justice system that protects human rights, promotes the rule of law, and increases the opportunities for the average Honduran to live a better life.

As you may know, on June 28, 2009, President Manuel Zelaya was removed from office and sent out of the country. The crisis in Honduras stems from the failure of its leaders to live within constitutional boundaries and from the earlier silence of the U.S. and international community regarding the abuse of power by the Honduran executive.

Any disruption of the constitutional order is unacceptable, regardless of who commits it. In the current crisis, neither the U.S. nor the other countries in the region, or the international community should be taking sides in a constitutional dispute. Instead, diplomatic efforts should be focused on encouraging a resolution through dialogue among Hondurans and by helping Hondurans maintain its currently scheduled elections for November 2009.

Again, I appreciate hearing from you, and will keep your comments in mind as the Senate considers U.S. policy towards Iran. O que quero mostrar com isto. Numa democracia verdadeira, os representantes do povo se lixam com a opinião pública. Mesmo recebendo email de um extrangeiro, com endereço eletrônico .br, ambos tomaram o tempo de responder.

Agora, nossos Senadores, que vivem de nossos impostos suados e que deveriam ser nossos representantes no congresso nacional, não se preocupam em responder as indagações dos leitores.

Eles são pessoas com "biografia"e que não têm tempo para a ralé.

Nas próximas eleições vamos dar a eles a resposta que merecem. Vamos mandá-los para casa em definitivo.
